Project Overview

The MV Mwanza project involved the full design, construction, and commissioning of a new passenger-and-cargo ferry to strengthen cross-lake transportation across Lake Victoria. DMG managed the entire programme from initial concept through to handover, working closely with the Tanzania Ports Authority to ensure the vessel met both operational requirements and international maritime safety standards. The project demanded rigorous structural engineering, outfitting works, and sea trials before final delivery.
